Become an active member
We meet every 6 to 8 weeks on a Thursday evening at 6 p.m. at the Maison des Associations in Raon l’Etape. In the winter, we meet in the premises of the Age d’Or. Our current annual membership fee is 5 €. Our future meetings are scheduled on the following dates :
- Thursday 21st. March 2024
- Annual general meeting Saturday 13th. April 2024 at 10 a.m.
- Thursday 16th. May 2024
- Thursday 27th. June 2024

Sponsor a child
The basic sponsorship costs 25 € per month. This pays for the schooling of your sponsorchild during his/her primary and secondary school years and his/her canteen lunches. Some sponsors chose to pay 30 € per month and thanks to the extra 5 € we can provide 25 meals for a boarding girl.
As soon as you decide to join our team of sponsors and as soon as our treasurer receives your first month’s sponsorship contribution; we will send you your sponsorchild’s information sheet and our bank details so that you can arrange for a monthly bank transfer.
If your sponsorchild decides to continue onto higher education, you can convert your sponsorship into a grant which the nuns will forward directly to the student. A sponsorship is a commitment towards a child, but it can be terminated if it becomes financially burdensome to you due to life hazards.

Become a volunteer
Each year, with the help of a network of volunteers, we accomplish two big actions. They are very friendly occasions when we work in a very good atmosphere with a shared lunch.
The first action of the year is a dinner dance to celebrate the Vietnamese Tet New Year. It takes place early February and is a gathering with some 300 guests. The volunteers help prepare the party hall and ensure table service on the night.
Then, at the end of November over a 4 day period, we prepare and sell 6 000 fried spring rolls. Our volunteers are now expert spring roll rollers.
Our 2022 spring roll campaign took place from November 21st. to 27th. 2022. We will soon give you the dates for the 2023 campaign.
The 2023 Têt dinner dance took place on the 11th. of February 2023. We will soon give you the date for the 2024 event.
Single donation
A sponsorship is a commitment towards a child. If you cannot commit long term, you can help us with a single donation. Your donation will help us to buy food and sanitary towels for the boarding girls, and will go towards school fees for the sponsor children who are now at our expense.

Do you want to help us in another way ? You can do so by buying this magnificent black and white photographic art book. The photographer Michel Daubert spent some time in Kontum with the Bahnar people and his book of photos will have pride of place in your library. It is also an excellent gift.
For each book sold thanks to us, Michel Daubert will donate 10 € to LES ENFANTS DE KONTUM.
