Teachers’ Day 2012, Sao Mai nursery school, Kontum

Every year in autumn in Vietnam, teachers are celebrated. The children of the Sao Mai nursery school, wearing make-up and colourful traditional folk costumes, perform many dances. Boys’ participation in these dances is quite recent, it was previously an exclusively female activity. The boys’ awkwardness is quite endearing as you can see for yourself in this video.
