Early September, we received a letter from the nuns explaining their new situation …
Upon the decision of the Bishop, the nuns have had to move to new premises where they will now live with the boarding girls.
Unfortunately, one of the consequences of this move is the dramatic closure of the Sao Mai nursery school.
We don’t yet know how the nuns will continue to deal with the schooling of our sponsor children attending primary and secondary school.
We will keep you informed as soon as we have more information from the nuns.
Faced with this frustrating situation which is beyond our control, we are more than ever determined to maintain our objectives.
